WHAT WE DO
PROFESSIONAL RESPONSE WHEN IT MATTERS MOST.
Crisis Response is a specialist service for situations that go beyond standard security environments where vulnerability, mental health, or high risk behaviour creates a complex, unpredictable dynamic that requires more than physical presence alone. Our Crisis Response Officers work with NHS trusts, local authorities, housing associations and private clients to manage exactly these situations.

Our officers undergo advanced training in mental health awareness and de-escalation, alongside enhanced physical intervention certification, catastrophic bleed control, and safeguarding. The result is a professional who can read a situation, communicate with someone in crisis, de-escalate where possible and intervene physically only where legally justified and proportionate.

This is not about force it is about control, compassion and professional precision in environments where the wrong response can cause serious harm to all parties.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
CRISIS RESPONSE SECURITY FAQS
What is a Crisis Response Officer and how do they differ from a standard security guard?
A standard security officer is trained to protect property and manage access in relatively controlled environments. A Crisis Response Officer holds additional, specialist qualifications specifically for high-risk or high-sensitivity situations including advanced mental health awareness, de-escalation techniques, enhanced physical intervention training, safeguarding certification and catastrophic bleed control. They're deployed where a standard security officer would be out of their depth or could inadvertently escalate a situation.
Can Crisis Response Officers be deployed in NHS settings?
Yes this is one of our core deployment environments. Our Crisis Response Officers hold the qualifications and clearances required to work within NHS trusts, A&E departments, mental health units and other clinical settings. All officers in healthcare environments hold Enhanced DBS checks, safeguarding training and receive a full site induction before their first shift.
How is physical intervention used and is it safe?
Physical intervention is always the last resort our officers are trained to de-escalate verbally and create safe distance before considering physical contact. Where physical intervention is legally justified and proportionate, our officers use accredited, approved techniques that minimise the risk of injury to all parties. All physical interventions are fully documented in a post incident report.
Do Crisis Response Officers work alongside other agencies?
Yes, and this is a key strength. Our officers are trained and experienced in working within multi-agency frameworks alongside police, social services, NHS staff and housing teams. Understanding role boundaries in a multi agency response is critical: our officers know when to lead, when to support and when to stand down.
Is this service available 24/7?
Yes. Crises don't follow business hours. Our operations centre is staffed 24/7 and we can deploy Crisis Response Officers at any hour, including nights and weekends. Clients using this service on an ongoing basis can set up standing arrangements with dedicated officers familiar with the environment and team.
