QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

CLOSE PROTECTION SERVICES FAQS

Do I need Close Protection or would a standard security officer be sufficient?

A standard security officer is suited to protecting a fixed location or premises. A Close Protection Officer is trained to protect a specific individual moving with them, assessing threats in dynamic environments, planning routes and movements and responding to personal rather than property-based risk. If your concern is about an individual's personal safety whether due to public profile, specific threats, or high value travel Close Protection is the appropriate solution.

How discreet can your Close Protection Officers be?

Entirely discreet. Our CPOs are trained to blend into the client's environment whether that means business attire at a corporate function, smart casual for personal appointments, or more operational dress for higher risk assignments. The goal is always to provide effective protection without advertising the client's security arrangements or creating an environment of anxiety.

Can you provide Close Protection at short notice?

Yes, in many cases. For standard protective assignments individual escort, event attendance, travel accompaniment we can often deploy at 24–48 hours notice. For more complex assignments requiring advance work, route planning, and multi officer coordination, we recommend as much lead time as possible, ideally a week or more.

Is my enquiry and personal information kept confidential?

Absolutely. All Close Protection enquiries are handled directly by our senior operations team and treated with complete confidentiality. We do not discuss client identities, assignments, or security arrangements with any third party. Our officers operate under a strict professional confidentiality obligation.

Do your CPOs hold driving qualifications?

Many of our Close Protection Officers hold defensive and evasive driving qualifications and we can match the right officer to assignments requiring vehicle based protective work. If your requirement involves secure transport, regular driving duties, or international travel, please specify this in your enquiry.
